Comments: I use a 65W Actinic White 12000K/420nm Super Actinic, Dual Color Power Compact Bulb - Straight Pin, UVL! bulbs last longer. and gives me the look im looking for. i was surprised when someone gave me the tip that the Red sea max 130d can handle two 65w not just the 55w. so i only gave a rating a 3 because it serves the purpose but doesnt meet expectations.

Comments: I am being asked.... How do you like your new Red Sea 55W Dual 10000K/Act?inic PowerCompa?ct Bulb? Andall I can is OMG!! I could not beleive how BRIGHT they are! The packaging was EXCELLENT! My tank and fish THANK YOU! So do I. My tank looks as new as the day I bought it, I for sure learned a lesson though, I will NEVER wait as lon as I did to replace the bulbs especially now I know who to get them from as they are not easy to find in stores.. toobad you did not do a reminder as to when we need to replace them GREAT JOB!!

Comments: These lights from red sea shift to the red spectrum in less than 6 months requiring one switch them out sooner than usual or one will have to deal with various severe red cyano outbreaks.

Comments: I'm very happy with these bulbs, Red Sea Max makes great products. I have had this system running for about a year. I replace the bulbs every 6 months or so just to be safe. LPS and Softies are doing great SPS are doing fine just not growing as fast as they could be, but this is to be expected with T5's.

Comments: Same complaint as everyone else. Needs to be replaced every 4-6 months. Or you will get this viscious nasty looking Algae. Should last about two years hopefully.

Comments: Once again Red Sea is charging a lot for a replacement product. These PC bulbs shift into dark red in less than 4 months. Expect a bloom of red slime. Or replace and replace often with no other choice.
