Comments: The performance is superb. More than I need to my 200 galons system. I valved it back and forward because the 02 inches draw of my aquarium have less capacity to fill my sump than this pump to empty it. Install with valves is a must to don't be surprised with more power than you need. The only against is the noise. Compared with my old submerse pump the Reeflo is very noise. And the vibration ecoes inside of the sump. I will do an acoustic treatment to reduce the noise, because all my system is better now after the Snapper, including the skimmer that is working a lot. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: This pump is sweet. With the discharge ball valve open wide this pump really moves water. It's very quite also. I hear the water falling into the sump more that I do the pump. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I purchased the Hammerhead Gold pump a few days ago. It was a replacement for my Barracuda pump. Both pumps are excellent pumps with very quiet running motors and very high water flows. The energy consumption per water flow is just outstanding in comparison to other brands of pumps. The reduced electrical cost of running the Gold version of the Hammerhead pump will pay for itself over the normal Hammerhead in two years or less. These pumps will last for 10 years easily, so the cheaper electrical bill will reduce the cost of ownership even further over time. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: All i've got to say is reeflo has got a great product!! this pump rocks the socks off any other i've had, FLOW/WATTS is great! You can't go wrong with any of these pumps... Did i mention that it is also super quiet, the fans in my light ballast are louder. BUY IT! Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: for the flow it produces, its extremely quite, i run two reeflo darts. and this is barely louder than they are,, it makes more heat than i like,, but waaaay less than the dolphin it replaced,, great pump so far Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I have had the Dart pump running for about two months and have steadly noticed it getting louder and louder. Had to call the manufactuer about it as it sounded like a ball bearing giving out. They are sending out a replacement pump right away and didn't give me any hassle at all over it so far. Stinks that I have to exchange pumps in the system but outside of this am pleased with performance and low heat transfer and very happy that company is honoring their product w/o much hassle. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: i have the Snapper pump runing my closed loop on my 135g reef, its been going strong for atleast 6 months. its a great buy because of the power, price, its well built and the fact that its quieter than the Mag 9 return pump. i think i should have gone with the Barracuda just to have the option for more power if needed since its only $30 more and uses 40watts more. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I bought two of these pumps two years ago for my 180g reef system. One supplies my skimmer and chiller while the other was used for my main return pump with four drains. This latter pump has had significant problems especially after the first year. Although it is quite, it is constantly going down and needs cleaning at least every month. Unfortunately for me I hard plumbed my system, so getting to this pump is a real chore. I've owned other external pumps which required no maintenance for years. I would also like to add that all of the water that gets drawn through these pumps is pre-filtered with micron socks. I would not recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I bought this pump for my 210 gallon. No only is the pump powerful, it is whisper quiet. I have the pump supplying my media reactors, chiller, and will also use it for a calcium reactor and ozone reactor. Just imagine not having to have 5 pumps in your system. This is what the dart will eliminate (depending on your system). Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I HOOKED UP THE REEFLO DART PUMP TO A 210 GALLON WITH A 30 GALLON WET/DRY FILTER ON SAT. APRIL 26TH 2008. IT WAS EXACTLY WHAT I HAD HOPED FOR, AFTER I READ THE REVIEWS BEFORE I HAD PURCHASED THE PUMP. IT HAS FANTASTIC OUTPUT WITH GREAT FLOW COMING OUT IN THE TANK. ACTUALLY MORE THAN I HAD HOPED FOR. LIKE THE REVIEWS, IT IS EXTREMELY QUIET. IT IS LOCATED IN THE CABINET UNDER THE TANK IN MY HOME OFFICE. WITH THE CABINET DOORS CLOSED, YOU REALLY DO NOT EVEN NOTICE IT. VERY IMPRESSIVE. Comments: I bought the Dart to replace a GenX 30. I was worried that the Dart was going to gave too much flow and I would have to throttle it back a little. I was surprised that the Dart didn't seem to have much more pressure than the GenX. I did seem to have maybe a little more but definately not as much pressure as I expected. The Dart is incredibly quiet though and I hope it's as energy effiecient as expected. All around a great little pump Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Love this little pump! It is running a closed loop with an Oceans Motions wave maker. I can find no other pump that moves this much water, at such a low price, with the lowest energy cost, and it's dead quiet! What more could I ask for! It's only been up two weeks now, but my other Reef Flow pump has been running for over a year with out a drop leaking from the seals. The Reef Flows have repaced my leaky Dolphin AmpMaster pumps. They were going through two seals a year! Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Larger then I expected. Loses quite a bit of pressure at max head. I have the pump about 8 ft from the tank and it seems to have about 3000 gph. Overall I am pleased with the pumps operation, it is extremely quite. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I purchased this pump to be the primary pump for my 240g reef tank. This pump is not only very powerful, but very, very quiet. In fact, it is amazingly quiet. For a pump this powerful you would expect the sound of a diesel engine, but not so. Beyond just being powerful and quiet, this unit is also very reliable. I have not had one ounce of trouble with this system. From my point of view, this is one of the best pumps on the market. If you need a pump that puts out a tremendous amount of water, and does so quietly, this is your pump. You will NOT be dissapointed. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I looked at many different sites before purchasing this pump. The price is great and wow is it quiet. My only issue at this point I believe has been caused by me. The issue is that the pump is raising the temp. in my tank. The problem may be caused by me because I have PVC plumbing up to the top of the tank, I have read that this raises head pressure and may cause heat build up. My next job is to find some flexible tubing to try. For those of you curious about the input and output diameter the input is 2" and the output is 1.5". Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I use it on my closed loop. Very quiet considering it's size. The manufacturer was very helpful with my questions regarding proper mounting. It must be well ventilated with cool air; otherwise it can transfer heat to the water. No different than any other fan cooled external pump, except that it's such a large pump, so it's more noticeable, especially on a smaller system. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
