Description:
The Extreme XS skimmers are powered by the high performance Italian Sicce pumps. The skimmer has a gate valve output which allows for more adjustment of the skimmer compared to ball valves and the old wedge pipe. The Sicce PSK1000 pump has an improved star wheel impeller. They are much more advanced with a digital circuit to control start up direction and speed, ultra low noise and huge air draw numbers. The skimmer produces up to 32scfh of air pull using the provided pinwheel impeller. (Air results will vary depending on aquarium setup.) Each Sicce pump draws less than 30watts of electricity. The collection cup has a quick release neck for easy removal for cleaning. It requires 1/2 inch of clearance to remove the cup. The Extreme XS skimmer uses metric plumbing parts.

Comments: All the reviews I have been reading about this skimmer are right. I have this running now for about 3 month and is working really well. The quality and design of this skimmer allow to bring you the highest quality product for your aquarium. Overall great skimmer I would recommend it to anyone.

Comments: This skimmer was very easy to set up. The Sicce pump is running very very quiet. Although, the manufacturer stated that we need one or two weeks to break-down the skimmer. My skimmer started pulling out black waste within three days period. I highly recommend this skimmer to anyone.

Comments: This is a great skimmer workes very well. Small foot print for such a powerful skimmer. My only dislike is at first was the noise of the intake. It was quite load. After awhile the noise subsided and is fairly quite now. Not sure why this happened but over all I am very pleased with this skimmer.

Comments: I am very satisfied with this product. cleaning gunk out I didnt even know I had. The only complaint I have which prevented me from giving it 5 stars is the noise of the air intake. The pump is quiet but the air sucking sound is a bit annoying.

Comments: I have worked with skimmers from hang on Coralife skimmers to RK2 and most everyting in between. The Diablo performs beautifully with very little adjustment, and cleaning it is incredibly quick and easy (no thumb screws or threaded fittings).
