Comments: This product is GREAT! Replace the filters as instructed you will get rid of all the junk in your tapwater without going to one of those expensive salt water purification systems.

Comments: It does a good job of softening water without adding anything in, such as commercial softeners do. It is a slow going process (I get about 7-8 gals per hour), but what else can one expect out of a D/I system? I have Discus in my aquarium and have used this system for years, it does a great job for the water quality of my fish (they even breed and rear their fry very well in it), and I plan to use it for as long as they make it. For the price and ease of use, it can't be beat.
