Seachem Reef Advantage Calcium ™ is equivalent to dry Reef Complete™. It is a non-caustic (pH 8.3-8.6) optimized blend of ionic calcium designed to restore and maintain calcium to levels found in natural seawater. Calcium and carbonates are essential to all coral growth. If either becomes deficient, coral growth will cease, followed by a rapid decline in coral health. Reef Advantage Calcium™ also includes magnesium and strontium in amounts proportionate to typical utilization ratios (100:5:0.1, Ca:Mg:Sr). This allows one to maintain these two important elements while maintaining calcium. If either usage or precipitative loss results in a more rapid loss of either magnesium or strontium, then Reef Advantage Magnesium™, Reef Advantage Strontium™, or Reef Strontium™ may be employed. Unlike limewater (kalkwasser), Reef Advantage Calcium™ does not have a caustic pH and will not deplete magnesium. Used as directed, it will not deplete alkalinity. 250 g treats 8,000 L (2,000 gallons).

Comments: Seachem's reef advantage calcium is the only calcium supplement I recommend for my customers. Simple to dose, and concentrated so that it doesn't take much to get the result you're looking for. coupled with seachem's reef builder for alkalinity, these are the only two products you will need to keep your CA/ALK in balance.

Comments: I've had marine tanks for over 30 years and I find myself getting lazy on water changes and chemical additions. By adding reef calcium alternated with reef builder to my RO water that I top up the tanks with, my corals still thrive and look better than they have in years. I believe these products are a must have for the low budget hobbist.

Calcium the easy way

Comments: Forget those bulky, clumsy, expensive calcium reactors. I have no trouble keeping my calcium levels at 450 to 500. Add appropriate am mount based on instructions once a week with make up water is all there is to it. Corals thrive and grow at phenomenal rates.
