Seachem

SeaChem Reef Iodide ™ is an iodide supplement for those with dense populations of invertebrates or soft corals. It is also useful in tanks with aggressive skimmers. Reef Iodide™ is concentrated at 8,000 mg/L. As little as 1 mL in 160 Liters (40 gallons) will raise iodide to natural seawater concentration. It is formulated to provide a safe source of iodide that will not convert to toxic free iodine under storage or reef conditions. It is recommended that this product be used with the MultiTest: Iodide™ test kit to ensure proper maintenance of iodide levels. 250 mL treats 20,000 L (5,000 gallons).

Seachem Reef Iodide Review

After 24 hours of utilizing a capful of Seachem Reef Iodide, I notice more activity as well as growth of my invertebrates. Invertebrates appeared that I didn't know where there.

Great Iodide

Have always used this product without any problems. With other Iodide Solutions its very easy to overdose tank with deadly results. I need to dose with this product about every 3 days as skimming&Corals tend to deplete Iodide. After dosing I shut off the skimmer for about 24 hours. Very difficult to overdose system using this product as it is very forgiving but would test water for proper Iodide levels.

Iodine

I can definitely notice a difference in my corals when I don't use it as compared when I do. They seem more colorful and much healthier when I am using this product regularly. I also like the fact that its iodide instead of Iodine. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.
