Economical true union 2000 standard ball valve. Allows future system upgrade. Excellent for OEM applications. Replaceable seats. Safe-T-Blocked® seal carrier - full rated pressure. Spears® Safe-T-Shear® stem. Self adjusting floating seat. Sizes 1/2" - 2" pressure rated to 235 psi @ 73°F, sizes 3" - 4" to 150 psi @ 73°F. NSF Certified for potable water use. Maximum service temperature PVC = 140°F (60°C), CPVC = 200°F (93°C). Temperature/pressure de-ratings apply. Not recommended to transport or store compressed air or gas.

Comments: Fellow reefers, If you’re installing valves in a system true union is the only way to do. Yes they cost more; no they do not freeze up ever. They are easy to clean you just take the tool that some with it pop out the seats and soak them in vinegar something that I do every other year or so which is not much. You could do more but I found it is not necessary. The operation is true also. So if you got the extra money to do it throw out the regular ball valves and get the true in the long run you will never forget it. Oh yes don't forget the gold card they are not cheap Good luck reefing, David
