SpectraPure® CSP-DI 90 GPD RO/DI System
Information
SpectraPure® CSP-DI Systems incorporate a high-silicate removal TFC membrane and 0.5 micron MicroTec™ Sediment Filter and Carbon Block Filter. CSP™ Systems are available from 25 gpd (95 LPD ) to 180 gpd (680 LPD) production rate. The pressure gauge allows for better visibility of system performance and indication of plugged pre-filters, plus a 33% larger capacity SilicaBuster™ 10" DI cartridge. This water purification system maximizes pure water production through the application of laboratory grade deionization resins used in our specialty deionization cartridges. The dual-probe TDS Meter monitors the output of the RO membrane, as well as the final DI water. You can be always be assured of "000 TDS" water. Also included is a filter wrench and a 3/4" garden hose adapter.

Note: A flush valve can significantly enhance the life of TFC membrane by flushing out any harmful impurity from the membrane.

Owning something like this will become a luxury long before you know it. It does exactly what it's meant to do. Perfect RO/DI water right out of your own house. Stop worrying about having to trust your LFS and get this. My only concern is the quality of the plastic as this is mounted on my wall. Either way it has done exactly what it's supposed to do thus far. I am a very happy camper with this purchase!

Unit was well packaged and showed no apparent damage upon arrival.
Once I unpacked it I hooked it up for a trial run and after some sputtering it began producing water. I immediately noticed that the output of water was not significantly greater than my existing Kent Marine unit but as I observed this I also looked at the pressure gauge which was between 20 and 40 psi. I can only assume that in order to achieve the desired 90 gallons per day the pressure must be higher. I'm aware of a pump which will in fact increase the pressure flow for people with lower pressure as myself.
The unit produces crystal clear water for my reef.And the meter shows the output to be 100% pure. Not bad!

This unit is well made and easy to install. Was up and running with the proper ratios in less than an hour. The mounting bracket is a little flimsy so I firmed it up with a piece of azek. I installed it over my slob sink so I went with a faucet adaptor and a saddle valve for the waste water. The flush kit is a must as well.

I bought the 60 GPD model. I had it setup and running in a little over an hour. I have it mounted on the wall in my basement. It works great. If I had to complain about something, it would be that the frame is made out of plastic and seems a little flimsy for the weight it has to support. I think if it was made out of a piece of aluminum; it would be perfect. Other than that, everything is fine. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. I love the fact that it comes with a TDS meter that reads both input and output levels. I researched a few different ro/di systems, but I'm convinced that this model is the best bang for your buck.

I just received this unit yesterday. Took me about 2 hours to get it plumbed in. The directions are fairly easy to understand and straightforward. I purchased the 90 GPD since it was cheaper than all the other ones. The unit that came was all white, and it had a full blown TDS meter with it, not the "good or bad" type the description says comes with it. One thing that could be improved is the frame all the filters are attached to. It is too flimsy and when you mount the unit to the wall it will bend. Not that big of a deal though.
