Comments: This product made a big difference on my aquarium the first time I used it works great. For any aquarium enthusiast it a must have product to keep your aquarium crystal clear and running properly. This is my second unit loved the first and love the second. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Flow Rate to Slow by JEFF

Comments: I am generally unhappy with the flow rate but water quality is great. The unit I bought was a 40GPD unit. The output side dribbles out very, very slowly so you have to plan days in advance to do a 10-15 gallon water change. That is approximately 1.6 gallons per hour with a 80PSI input. Who has the time to swap out jugs to collect water at that great flow rate. I guess a word from the unwise is do the math on output flow before buying a unit. I would not recommend this product to my friends.

Great

A little disappointed by GERALD W BARNES

Comments: My old RO was wore out so I bought this new Spectrapure system with DI. I was disappointed to find all the fittings had leaks from either no teflon tape or not being screwed in completely. You may think this was not a big deal but the way they have this constructed you can't get to the fittings without removing the filters from the hanger which is 12 screws. So, basically I got a assemble yourself filter but worse then that I had to dis-assemble first. But, my input TDS measurement is 72 and the output of the DI measures 0 so its doing the job. Just wish it was as simple as hanging it on the wall and using it out of the box. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Excellent!

Comments: Had the system up and running within an hour of receiving. Would recommend this system to anyone who has a reef system or FO system. Saves time and money lugging bottles and buying expensive water. We just let it run all night in a 30 gallon trash can and mix the salt right in our garage. Hook up is easy, all the fittings are included. We hooked it up to our water line in the garage and let the waste water go to our tree in the front yard. The system is excellent! Would highly recommend to anyone tired of lugging bottles to the LFS or RO store! Great system at a great price! Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I received this unit and had it producing water within and hour. The ONLY thing that was at all difficult was adjusting the restrictor. Mine had to be cut to 1/2" while the manual said 1". One call to Spectrapure and the problem was solved. Great product and reasonable price. The best part is you can upgrade to better and "larger" membranes and cartridges. Good value. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: This RO/DI works very well, hooked it up in to the basement and it runs about 65PSI and pumps out about 5Gal for topoff in a little over an hour. I water the plants often with the "waste water". Very happy I can now do about 20Gals in an afternoon. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I'm very happy with this unit and it's a great price. Keep your water pressure no higher than 80 lbs as SpectraPure suggest. Reads O ppm. Very Happy, no problems what so ever. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
