Comments: I can't hear any noise at all from it, it's lightweight, you can put your hand on it, it's warm, but not hot, power and lamp cords are heavy duty, runs metal halide, and high pressure sodium bulbs, my hot peppers are lovin' it!Can't find anything wrong with it, five stars! Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: This ballast is great. It is a beatiful looking ballast (if there is such a thing). Everything about this ballast was designed with quality in mind from the materials, the finish, the wiring, and the rubber feet. My hamilton 250W bulb is at least 30% brighter IMO compared to the old magnetic ballast that I was using. My only gripe and the reason I didn't give it a 5 star is that they require a proprietary electrical plug to plug into the ballast which is somewhat inconvenient and forces you to purchase their socket set. None the less, a quality product. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: High quality grade ballast. It's the first time I paid this much for a ballast but the diference is noticable. The ballast itself runs cooler than my other 400w ballast. I would recommend this product. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: My corals are loving the new ballast! I'm running this with a 20k Radium, after about 3 weeks the colors are starting to pop. Growth is not that bad either. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: i bought a single and a dual for my 25" deep tank. fired up the bulbs nice and the electric bill is better. completely silent. nice units! Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I have a 180 gallon aquarium with 3 hqi halide pendants. Bulbs were burning out every 3 to 5 month. I decided to change ballasts and see if it made a difference in bulb life. I had saved 3 of the 'burned out' bulbs. The Sunlight Supply Galaxy 250W Electronic Ballast started all 3 of the old bulbs that the old electronic ballasts would not begin to start,so I am very satisfied with the product and wish I hadn't disposed of any of the old bulbs. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
