Rio® & Rio Plus Aqua Pump/Powerheads provide a versatile water pumping system designed with high efficiency and reliability at lower cost.  Designed with next-generation magnetic-rotor technology, Rio® & Rio Plus Aqua Pump/Powerheads offer the best high-performance solution in the aquarium industry.  Biggest and most powerful models provide excellent performance within wet or dry filters and in Venturi protein skimmers when high pressure and flow rates are needed.  Reliable and quiet, Rio® & Rio Plus Aqua Pump/Powerheads do not use oil to operate so they cannot contaminate the aquatic environment.

This pump comes with a tank mounting bracket, barb adapotors, ball valve, 2inch spray deflector, air inline tubing, 3/4 npt, and suction cups for the tank bracket.

Comments: I purchase this pump to replace the one I had before but I really could not use it because it is actually a little bigger then the previous one but I do have it do use with other items and it is working well so far. Noise yes but only if it is touching the surrounding areas otherwise its fine.

Comments: I like this pump. I use it for my 2 chamber reactor. I was using a mj1200 that was not affective at all. I recommend this rio product. Great job customer service. It isa bit large but does the job great.

Comments: I am using this pump to power my Protein skimmer. I had 3 supreme mag pumps that lasted all of 1 month each, before I finally gave up on them and got this one. It does its job which is all I care about!!

Comments: I have used the Rio pumps for years on my fish ponds and still have 4 of them in use right now. Two of them aerate and provide a current for moving water, and two of them are the pump for pumping pond water to a filter. The only problem I have had with them is the magnetic propellers wear out and I can no longer find a place to purchase just that part and have to buy the whole pump.
