Q
Mixing pump
I am looking to use this for the purpose of mixing saltwater. Would this provide adequate flow in a 50 gal container for mixing?

A
This pump would be too small and would not properly mix salt or aerate the water. We would recommend a pump in the 500GPH range. Such as the Rio 1700.

“Disappointed...”
1.0

Pump didn't even last one year. 10 months to be exact. Worst of all it only has 6 months warranty.

“Great product at a good price”
5.0

I had used Rio for my return pump in my last set up, and really liked it. Just got the 2100 for the return pump in my new tank and the 800 for my calcium reactor. For the price you can't really beat it. They run forever and don't make a lot of noise.
