Comments: What can I say about this? I hope it works! It installs easily and is good peace of mind. I bought this because I swear I was feeling some tingling when I had my hands in the tank a couple times. Better safe than sorry. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: With three pumps and three separate heaters on a 120 Gal Tank w/ 20 Gal Refugium, I was getting stray voltage: measured from the water to ground with my voltmeter, 40 VAC (!!!) before I used the ground probe in the system. With the ground probe in place, it dropped the voltage to ZERO. There is no detectible voltage in the tank OR refugium now. I have a very nice Fluke voltmeter, and it did not detect any 60 cycle frequency at all (which would be detectable if there were any AC current in the tank). I placed the Ground Probe so that only the metal part of the probe is in the water. I like this probe because it can plug directly into a grounded outlet (I tested my outlets using an outlet tester) with ease and needs no additional hardware to set up. It utilises a jacketed steel wire, which means no copper to leach into the system in the off chance of it being exposed to the water. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: It is a small, overlooked item, but it may have protected me from being electrocuted when my brand new sterilizer had a huge hole in the sleeve. I was shocked several times, not realizing I what it was until my husband found the hole in the sleeve. He thought the ground probe probably saved my life. So get one, now. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Its a nice product and does its job. I just bought this as an added safty protection. If you know that you have stray voltages then you should take care of the problem right away. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: A while back I had a pump that malfunctioned and released current into my tank, bleaching many corals. Now that I have the grounding probe, I have nothing to worry about!This is a MUST for all home aquariums! Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: This product works great if you have stray voltage. It’s easy to check for stray voltage using a voltmeter on AC 200 setting. I had 48 volts running through my tank and completely eliminated it with this product. Before I started using it though, I did apply some clear silicone where the wire meets the black plastic and where the black plastic meets the titanium rod. I wanted to make sure this was really sealed, especially where the titanium rod and the black plastic meets. Knowing that saltwater can creep along the wire that will carry the stray voltage out of the tank, even within the insulation of the wire. I made sure this would not happen if there happened to be a bad seal on the black plastic part. I coated it with silicone mainly because if the power goes out, the level will rise in my sump and will surely rise up onto the wire insulation and the joint where the wire and rod meet, would be under water. This was just piece of mind on my part. This product gets the job done without breaking the budget. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
