1st off I have to applaud Customer Service for not boxing this 200g mix bucket. They place a label on the bucket which has a handle and this makes shipping the product safer and easier on the courier too. Thanks guys!I enjoy the TM salt. It dissolves much easier with no residue in my mixing station. I prefer the TM Pro, but the reular TM is still better than most other salts out there as far as being user friendly including the flimsylid that does not bust your fingers trying to remove it.I like that a lot! There's indentions for your fingers to pry top off, which is not a rigid top. Compare to tupperware lids.My clownfish go no more than 4 days with no eggs at a time. The rest of the time we have an ongoing supply of fry and eggs.I recommend this product, and will continue to purchase it.

Tropic Marin is by far the best sea salt i have ever used!!! I was using instant ocean "cheap stuff" for ever and a day but for the past 6 months i have been using Tropic Marin and i will never switch back!! Since the switch my coralline algae took off and is thriving in this salt and my aquarium creatures have never looked better. If you can afford the extra few bucks for this salt then buy it. You will not be disappointed!!! Mixes very very well and clean.

I have not had the same results as other review. In a 6 gal nano have a hard time keeping above 360 calcium. I am two weeks into a start-up and the tank just finished it cycle so We will see what the story is when I finish the box. I have a box of Seachem reef as backup...

I've tried all the major brands of salt mix and this is hands down the best. I use RO DI water, air stone and small pump to mix. PH was 8.2, DKH 8, Ca+ 450. Although I usually let it mix overnight, you could use this salt much sooner. My corals open huge after I change the water. If you have a reef tank, you have to try this for yourself, well, for your sea critters.

I just started using this salt, and although I haven't noticed any changes in coral growth yet, I did test it for calcium... 520mg/L Sweet. My clam will be nice and happy, without dosing!

One of the main reasons I use this salt is the speed with which it goes into solution. I prepare 20 gallons using RO/DI water in a plastic trash can with a mag drive 5 pump to mix the water and salt. By far, this salt dissolves the quickest of any I've tried, and I think I've tried them all. The tank seems to like the salt as well - no issues. Finally, the calcium/hardness levels from lot to lot have been very, very consistent which indicates to me good quality control in the manufacturing process.
