Meh... Too much $$$

I've had this guy running for about two weeks now on my four foot 150 gallon reef. My first impression, once I had it put together was that it was really loud. I'm not really picky about noise- fans on lights- pump whiring- that stuff doesn't bother me, but this sucker is really loud. I was told it'll quiet down but it's been two weeks, still super annoying resonance buzzy. So yeah, the construction is kinda mediocre, cause the whole unit vibrates like crazy. I'll probably pull it apart and see if I can add some silicone to the buzzy spots. I feel like they could have added some padding in a few spots to lessen the vibrating noise. But how much flow does it make? Does it give me awesome wave affects? Yeah, kinda... It definitely moves water around. I get a pretty good, though small back and forth wave affect on my corals- but mostly I see a sort of rotational flow throughput of water. It may be because my tank is short and deep for the size- but the waves aren't what I was hoping for. I feel like two strong power heads would do about the same. Maybe with a different controller to tune the wave? Basically, this thing is pricey and might not be what you expect for the cost of a premium piece of equipment. I kind of wish I'd just gotten another couple of powerheads. Oh, and it's really big and ugly.
