The Tunze 6105.50 Safety Connector can be used to provide a safe way to power the 6055, 6101, 6201 & 6301 during electrical failures with a solar cell, battery or other DC power source from 8-24 volts DC. It is connected between the auxiliary power source and the controller. The safety connector has been very popular in areas with frequent power outages, like the north east and Florida. No change in pump flow and no surges detected as it switches from battery to mains and vice versa. Once mains power is restored, switches back. Completely automatic.
