Eco-Energetic
The innovative motor based on the eco-energetic concept and the newly developed pump technology ensures a very high efficiency at very low maintenance and power consumption.

Very Silent Run
Special plastic bearings, a titanium-alloy axle and silicone absorbers enable a very silent run without wear which applies for smaller models as well as for the powerful pumps

Large Suction Area
The water which is drawn in passed through a giant intake strainer, and thus prevents premature soiling.

Magnet Holder - A Standard Feature
As a standard feature, Turbelle® stream® is supplied with a magnetic holder, which enables uncomplicated attachment at any position on the aquarium pane.

Flexible adaptation
The ball-type design is an intelligent solution for installation with a minimum of hydraulic losses. Contrary to other pumps, they offer a lot of flexibility with respect to positioning and orientation of the water beam, which can be adjusted in such a way that an effective flow is produced over a long distance in the aquarium at lower power consumption.

Energy efficient
Eco-energetic and extremely silent Hardly any other components have experienced similar progress in aquarium engineering in the past few years as the circulation pump. The new Turbelle® stream 2 is a very compact screw pump with a wellthought- out design used to circulate water in aquariums or tanks. It contains several innovative technical solutions and adapts to the aquarium without affecting the existing biotope.

The Ultimate in Water Motion.

I have been using Tunzes for years with excellent results. I have 4 Tunzes in my tank right now. I use 2 6125s and 2 6085s. I only run 2 at a time to create alternating flow during the day. I tried Vortechs but the inability to direct the flow where I wanted and their added noise were unacceptable for my purposes. In short I find the Tunzes to be the quietest and most versatile water movement option for saltwater aquariums. No other powerhead even comes close.I do clean my Tunzes and I have experienced calcium carbonate deposits in the past, but I have not had that problem personally since I stopped dosing kalkwasser and switched to a Calcium Reactor. Regardless, even when I did have deposits forming I never had to clean the Tunzes more than once every two months and if I used Muriatic Acid the shafts were clean in seconds.Tunze Streams are the Gold Standard in water motion. Waste of Money, High Maintenan

I am extremely dissatisfied with product TZ1337, mainly because you cannot operate these pumps for more than 1 or 2 weeks at a time without having to disassemble and soak in vinegar...A big waste of time and definitely does not match the price value. The titanium shaft and end pieces will inevitably get coated in calcium deposits causing these things to run backwards and drive you nuts. I had to take these expensive pumps out and put Koralia 6's instead knowing that they are at least more reliable and never have to be disassembled and cleaned. Not impressed with Tunze. The Koralia's even feel stronger with the suggested flow rate. For an SPS keeper or high end reefer, don't waste your time or money soaking these things in vinegar every week, major headache.

Good flow but pricey

I have 2 mp40w mounted on the side of my 125g 6' reef, and wanted to add another pump on the back wall of the tank, which has virtually no clearance for another mp40w. The Tunze was a very tight fit so rather the back wall I mounted on the internal overflow. It pushes a good amount of water, but it is not nearly as strong as the Vortech. On the positive side it is silent, and can be swiveled 360 deg. I would have given it 4 stars but for the high price tag.
