Unsatisfactory

Comments: My first experience was that after dropping $567 dollars I couldn’t install it without spending another $126 dollars on magnets that were not listed as accessories on the web site and in the manual the manufacture states that even if the supplied brackets worked the manufacture recommends them anyway (However Marine Depot did wave the second shipping fee, so thanks for that). I have yet to get this thing to work properly (2 weeks) and after looking on the internet I am not alone. For what I paid I would expect it to just work. My tank meets all the manufactures specifications and I can barely get a ripple out of it. I recommend you seriously consider the purchase of this product. I would not recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I love this wavebox, its so quiet and the waves are really cool. Finally, no more dead spots in my tank, the fish seem to like the new water movement. The corals however took a couple of days to get use to it. Now coral polyps are extended again and they look happy. I think the reason the corals were unhappy for a while, is because all the detritus that was laying in the dead spots is now being curculated in the water. This wavebox is making my protein skimmer work more efficient. The skimmer use to take out brown stuff but now its taking out black really smelly gunk. I wish I had this tunze wave box a long time ago. I wouldn't have wasted all my money on junk powerheads. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I held off on getting a wavebox for 3 years because I already had 2 streams and 2 1" sea swirls in my seven foot 205 gallon reef. I thought the wavebox wouldn't add meaningfully to flow. Boy was I wrong! I especially like the natural back-and-forth action of the anemonies and soft corals. I feel like I could probably eliminate both streams and one of the swirls without any compromise to tank flow quality. Great product. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I hooked the Box right up and started to make waves with out having to adjust a single knob!!! This wavebox makes some killer waves!!! The plastic used on it seems to be a little flimzy... For the price I would have thought Tunze would use better plastics. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I love my wave box. It is easy to set up, works effortlessly and requires very litte cleaning My fish love floating in the tank and it keeps the ditrus suspended very well. I would have an aquarium without a tank before I would be without this with a tank LOL Marine Depot service and Tunze are both top notch Thanks Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Initially I didn't think the cost of the Wavebox was worth the investment. Of course that was before I purchased it. After instillation, I am very pleased with my decision to purchase. The Wavebox does a fantastic job of keeping great water circulation in my tank, even in areas where my power heads were not effective. Plus I was able to remove the unsightly power heads from my tank. Once you buy the wavebox you will never go back to using powerheads again. Also, I would Consider purchasing the magnets to hold the Wavebox in place. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Excellent!

Awesome, but be aware... by Josh

Comments: Great waves. Can't get as big of waves with corner overflows due to splashing. Also, didn't installed easily on my 180 AGA. Magnets made it easy, but added $100 in cost. Looks awesome though! Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
