Tunze Wavebox 6212 is a wave generator for aquariums from 52-317gal (200-1200L). It is specially suitable for reef biotopes as it generates an oscillating current. The current corresponds exactly to the wave structure and water movement in reef top zones. The Wavebox applies this oscillating principle through Wave Controller 6091, which uses the intrinsic resonance of the tank. A very low power consumption generates ideal water movement. The water is in movement in all areas of the aquarium, even the smallest section behind a decoration benefits from the wash.

Comments: Initially I didn't think the cost of the Wavebox was worth the investment. Of course that was before I purchased it. After instillation, I am very pleased with my decision to purchase. The Wavebox does a fantastic job of keeping great water circulation in my tank, even in areas where my power heads were not effective. Plus I was able to remove the unsightly power heads from my tank. Once you buy the wavebox you will never go back to using powerheads again. Also, I would Consider purchasing the magnets to hold the Wavebox in place.
Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Excellent!

Awesome, but be aware... by Josh

Comments: Great waves. Can't get as big of waves with corner overflows due to splashing. Also, didn't installed easily on my 180 AGA. Magnets made it easy, but added $100 in cost. Looks awesome though!
