Two Little Fishies

Many aquariums suffer from low-pH issues. Sometimes it`s the carbon dioxide that accumulates in the air in closed buildings that won`t let the pH of your aquarium stay up. TwoLittleFishies have the solution: It`s called CDX, a Carbon Dioxide adsorption system.

Simply install CDX media in a PhosBan reactor and connect it to the air intake of your protein skimmer with the CDX Adaptor. The CO2-free air injected into your protein skimmer drives off the excess CO2 dissolved in the water, so the aquarium`s pH rises. Happy days are here again! A 750 ml jar will last about 6-8 weeks on the average 50 - 100 gallon reef aquarium. You can tell when it is exhausted because it changes from white to pink.

Very quick and STABLE results. I did not realize how much a closed environment affected my tanks PH until I gave CDX a try. Amazing and simple to use.

“Boosts pH”

My pH ranged from 7.9 at night to 8.1 in the day. I have a tank in the basement and during the summer and winter the CO2 levels from the AC and heating unit were elevated. I was having issues keeping acropora corals. People kept telling me that my pH was OK and it wasn't that low. I used this in...Read More

“Easy to use”

Product is easy to use. I made a simple DIY canister with an empty jar and some microfilter pads, but a media reactor would work great too. My tank is in a basement where a lot of excess CO2 can gather, especially in the winter with the house closed up. The pH on my tank generally ranged from 8.0...Read More
