The threaded lid design makes servicing quick and easy. One reactor for aquariums up to 150 gallons.

Q
what is the flow rate of water through this unit?
Gallons / hr or what size pump do you suggest

A
We recommend the Cobalt Aquatics MJ600 Pump, or a similar pump with a flow rate of around 160 gph. Ideally you would want a ball valve to control the flow coming into the unit.

“Nice Reactor”
5.0

This is a very simple and easy reactor to set-up and use. I have not had a problem with the unit in any way. Reactor works well and no channeling seen. Noticed a drop in algae growing on the side of the tank after reactor was put into service. For an inexpensive purchase compared to some of the more...Read More

Works great. Only been running for 3 days and brought my phosphate level down from 0.07 to 0.00! Excellent value for the money.

“Phosban reactor 150”
5.0

As far as I'm concerned the phosban reactor 150 works perfectly good product for the money. The only thing I found that should be changed is the hang on bracket could be I little wider for wider top rims. I have a 125 gal tank and I had to grind down the rim a little so the bracket would fit perfect...Read More

“Great Reactor”
5.0

Got this reactor a couple weeks ago and it has been working great. Flow through the reactor is awesome. No trouble with the rubber elbows, I just made sure there was no strain on them by making the hoses plenty long enough and not trying to make them bend in any odd angles. Overall, a great product ...Read More

“Good Biopellet Reactor”
4.0

Overall good biopellet reactor. Screens are needed to use it with biopellets. The construction seems good except for the soft rubber elbows. The locations of the inlet and outlet could be improved. The reactor cost was 50% of other reactors. I'm happy with my purchase.

“Cannot go wrong”
5.0

Looking for an excellent reactor that is far less expensive than the Gucci models? This is the way to go. Excellent uplift and uniform dispersion of media. Hangs nicely on the side of a fuge or tank. I use three of them for GFO, Carbon, and Bio-pellet. Never had a leak.
