UVL 24 INCH VERY HIGH OUTPUT (VHO) AQUASUN BULB, 75 Watt

The best technologically advanced aquarium lamp containing a mixture of unique triband phosphors. 180° internal reflector allows 40% more light output. Excellent for all marine applications, hard coral, plants, fresh water, and salt water tanks.

AquaSun (10000K) = 100% white spectrum.

All UVL lamps come with 180` internal reflector which allow 40% more light output.

Shipping Costs
We can pack up to 6 lamps per box. Since fluorescent bulbs require special handling and packaging, we will only ship fluorescent bulb and power compact bulb orders of four or more bulbs free of shipping cost. 46.5" and longer bulbs are shipped free only if 6 or more bulbs are ordered. All 46.5" lamps and longer ship as an oversize package (30 lbs package). 30-day warranty.

Excellent!

Comments: I have always used just the actinic white and super actinic bulbs in the 48 inch length which always posed a problem because my tank is 48 in. wide so the canopy was cramped to say the least. I saw that you guys were carrying the 46.5" length bulbs and HAD to order them which is when I saw these aqua sun bulbs. My local store didn't carry them and had never heard of anyone using them so I added one to my order to test out. The color enhancement is great with the addition of this bulb. I'm now using 2 super actinics, 1 white actinic, and 1 aqua sun with the Ice Cap 660 ballast. Not only are the colors much more vivid but my corals have sprung to life, especially the mushrooms. I guess it has something to do with the spectrum. The aqua sun bulb is now a permanent part of my setup.

Excellent!

Comments: I purchased these bulbs to replace two actinics, and was also surprised at the broader spectrum of light. I normally run 2 160W blue and 3 halides totalling 750 watts. I have an agressive reef, and have always kept the halides for that "plugged in look. I'm NOT kidding when I say that I'm happier with these two VHO's and the halides off. The light is beautiful, really shows off the fish without the washed out overbright of the halides. And I'm saving tons of energy as a result. I really just couldn't be happier.
