UVL 24 Inch 75W AquaSun VHO T12 Fluorescent Bulb Information

The best technologically advanced aquarium lamp containing a mixture of unique triband phosphors. 180° internal reflector allows 40% more light output. Excellent for all marine applications, hard coral, plants, fresh water, and salt water tanks.

AquaSun (10000K) = 100% white spectrum.

All UVL lamps come with 180` internal reflector which allow 40% more light output.

All fluorescent bulbs have a 30-day warranty. Because fluorescent light bulbs are extremely fragile, they require special handling and packaging for safe transport. The special packaging we use for fluorescent bulbs accommodates multiple bulbs so the more you buy, the more you save.

Freshwater Planted

Comments: Although the kelvin and CRI of these bulbs are not optimum for my application they are still in range and work very well in my freshwater planted tanks. Internal reflectors are a huge bonus and remove the need to purchase/maintain additional reflectors that radiate more heat on the canopy. Currently running 11 of these bulbs with icecap ballasts; they are very reliable and economical. This bulb purchase was for for time replacement not failure; they were/are used 12 hours a day and lasted over 5 years before showing signs of wear.

Comments: I actually bought the 48 inch bulbs. Have used the UVL bulbs for 12 years and never had a problem with them. I change bulbs every 12 to 18 months. They last longer when using a Ice Cap ballast. The Ballast is also 12 years old and still going strong. Don't put the ballast under the canopy and they will last longer. Great product.

Comments: I recently ordered 2 VHO Aquasun Bulbs and 4 VHO Super Actinic Bulbs. The light that they give out is far superior than the bulbs that were previously used, and the 180 degree reflector works very well. I have to mention that one did not work upon arrival, despite being packed extremely well. Their exceptional customer service not only replaced the bulb free of charge, but shipped it straight away. Great Job, especially when customer service elsewhere seems to be diminishing.

Comments: My Corals and Nems really like these VHO's, I swapped my MH lights out with them and so far so good. The 46.5 inch size is perfect for my 48 inch canopy.
