Good Product

The product works well of what it is intended to do. I with the design was a skinnier U as it does not fit snug on my tang, even with a rim at the top.

Semi-automated Water Change

The U-Tube put the water were I wanted it to go. Work with out a problem, no water spills or leaks. It could use something that holds it in place. I'll try a suction cup. If I can find one that fits.

Convenient

Pros: out-feed is adjustable at 2 joints allowing you to place it on any part of your aquarium and point it left or right, up or down. Great if you want surface ripples to avoid "oil slick or if you want to point it to a bottom corner to force overall circulation. Durable plastic Cons: The "U" itself is very wide so you need to fill the gap between the straight neck and the aquarium. Can also be placed at an angle but that limits the adjust-ability of the out-feed nozzle.

U-Tube

Well I got the U-tube and decided to go with flexible tubing since it has the barbed end. Hated the tubing, so decided to cut of the barb and go with pvc, much better. The tube is great works well, when I had it on the tubing I drilled the hole like others have suggested, since switching to pvc i filled the hole and instead added a check valve. Either way it works great just make sure to do one or the other, after a power outage you don't want to wake up to a wet floor :)

Needs a mod for hard PVC

I got this for my return because I didn't want an ugly pvc pipe in my display. What I didn't like about it was that its specifically made for flex tubing. I ended up cutting the barbed end and cementing it to a screw on pvc adapter. Worked out great.
