Vertex Mocean 2000 Wave Maker

With the Vertex Mocean 2000 Wave Maker, you can create the most natural simulation of the ocean waves in your tank without sacrificing too much space or money. The secret is in the patented rotating motor. It allows you to create waves in any direction in your tank! The moving head continually rotates back and forth to the coordinates you preset. You can even let it spin 360 degrees over and over again. The rotating motor is designed to work with your current water pumps (including power heads). You select the amount of waves and strength yourself by using your current pump. You can simply use a more powerful pump to increase the water flow. The Vertex Mocean 2000 Wave Maker can handle up to 2000 GPH (1").

Comments: In my reef tank I wanted to go for a clean look so I dont' have a hood and went with one return. After 2 weeks I noticed many dead spots even with my powerheads. I hesitant to buy this product because of the cost, but now I'm very happy I did. It's amazing to see how well it covered the tank. I also like the fact that you can use either 3/4" or 1" tubing. The other thing I like is that you can set the angles. With other products, you're stuck with 90 degrees of movement. With this you can rotate 360 degress if you'd like.
Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: This looks identical to Wavysea. I have both Wavysea and Seaswirl for years. The quality of Seaswirl is very reliable, Wavysea had many quality problems and went under, but I like the design and function of Wavysea much better than Seaswirl. It needs time to tell whether this is a better one and whether the new supplier will stand behind their products.
