Unsatisfactory

Comments: I purchased this product mainly because it came with a pump where none of the other media reactors did. Plug and play. The pump is very unreliable. It has stopped running several times in the 2 months that I have owned this unit. You have to remove the pump and manually get it spinning. I have had no leaks though and run it outside the sump. I plan to buy a better quality pump soon and I would not buy this product again or recommend it to a friend. I would spend a few extra dollars and get a better unit. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Pros -Price, does what it's suppose to, small footprint. Cons- small chamber(could be a pro), pump is a little weak but works fine, I now have mine tapped to the mainifold. Leaks but I've read reviews on more expensive ones and they all seem to leak. I don't like the way they designed the connectors at all. It's hard to tell how well it's attached. I'm afraid it is going to pop off but so far it hasn't. I've had it for about 10 months and it still works just fine. I had to get my own tubing cuz what it came with didn't fit right. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: The instructions were pretty simple to understand, after looking at the pictures I realized I had to cut the tubing, not a big deal tho. Great plug any play product. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: One good thing it comes equipped/ready to use, but it leaks! Good for in-sump, the pump is weak too. Holds lets water and media, than Phosban Reactor 150. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I haven't had it in use long enough to see any benefits. The original setup was dificult due to poor instructions. I thought I was missing a piece of tubing to connect the parts together. It never says in the instructions that I have to cut the tubing. It wasn't that big of a deal though. I hooked it up and it seems to be functioning fine now. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I didn't know you could get anything like this for anywhere close to this price. Worth every penny. I am going to buy several more. I have Rowa phos in the first one and will put carbon in the second one. At this price an extra for a back up would be easier and cheaper then buying an extra pump. When you get unit soak the hose in hot water for a min and it will completely unkink. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: The pump is not working good, because sometimes it starts up fine and sometines it doesn't. Now, it's been just a week since I've put it to work, I will need more time to see how much nitratres went down. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Great item. Comes with everything you need (except media) and is operational within 10 minutes after removing it from the box. I like the fact its plug-and-play and that is the reason I chose this item over similar items that sold the pump and hoses separately. Small footprint allows you to use in your sump and not take up a lot of precious room. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Upon receiving this product, the overall design of it made it seem like it would be easy to assemble. As far as the vinyl tubing goes, it is a VERY tight fit so I literally had to boil some water and soak the tips of the tubing in it for a minute or so to get it all to fit. Other than that, it was pretty much plug and play. After the tubing issue, the rest took me less than 5 minutes to assemble. I stuck some carbon and phosphate reducer in there and off it went. You really can't go wrong with this item, the cap seals real well with the o-ring and screw on cap seal. Not to mention its an all in one system, no need to buy extra tubing pumps etc... I've had it for 48 hours and so far so good, I'll give it 5 stars unless anything changes over the months! Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: This is an awesome deal for a great little reactor. I was impressed with the build quality for this little reactor. The best part of the deal is that it comes with everything you need. Comments: For the price, this reactor is great. It is has a small footprint and it can hold plenty of media. It dropped my phosphates to 0ppm in less than 12 hrs. My only feedback would be that the pump sometimes doesn't pump immediately. For the first couple of days, it doesn't pump, you have to whack it against your palm to get it going. It seems to pass after it gets "broke in", it works fine. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Item works great, have used with phosphate removal meadia. I feel it will not work with aquariums bigger than 75 gallons as the chamber will not accomidate a flow rate for more than 1 1/2 cups of what ever medium you are going to use. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I am very pleased with this product. Its easy to set up and install, the quality of the materials is very good and it takes up little space. Better seal at the top than the other leading reactor (which always leaked for me). Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: The product is perfect for what I need, but the lid was faulty and leaks. Have to disassemble the whole thing and return all of it and wait to have it tested. Not worth the trouble. Other than leaking it works great. Don't buy it if you don't want the hassle. I would not recommend this product to my friends.
