This media reactor works well, but the user needs to make sure that all of the air bubbles are let out for optimal use

So far so good, have had it working for a day. The pump is obviously inadequate, had to bump it to get it working. The instructions need to be more detailed. I didnt know if i had to leave a space at the bottom and top to help with water flow, so I had to guess by looking at pictures, which still didn't really help. Overall I like it. Will buy a new pump for it, and maybe another reactor for my other tanks.

This product is well built, as for the pump, it could have been better. The only thing that really bugs me about this thing, is that the flow adjustment is always underwater (near pump). If you buy this I would reccomend getting another pump, or atleast a valve hookup.

Pro: price
Cons: there are some flaws with this product. First you need to cut two pieces of the tubing to attach the intake tube, but the manual is not clear about this step, I had to figure this out by looking at the pictures of the product assembled. Second, the pump has suction cups located on its bottom instead of on its side, making these cups completely useless unless you are able to install the pump sitting on the bottom of the tank/sump. Third, the water flow valve is located near the pump, i.e. it stays underwater. It should be outside the tank.
