Description

PHOSaR HC is a high density granule, approximately 2-4mm in size. It works best in a media reactor or a canister filter. PHOSaR HC also requires low to moderate water flow to function correctly although in a media reactor a slightly higher flow is possible. PHOSaR HC should be rinsed well with purified fresh water until the rinse water is clear. PHOSaR HC will last up to 12 weeks in an aquarium with low Phosphate levels. Use 50% less PHOSaR HC compared to other competing products. If you currently need 4 inches of media in your media reactor you can use 2 inches of PHOSaR HC for similar adsorption capacity plus it will last much longer.  Customer Reviews Write a review 12 of 12 people found the following review helpful: Excellent! Most phosphate removal products that contain Iron Oxide work so similiarly there is no noticable difference. This product is the exception. Mainly because of its durability and absorbtion capacity. I've had no "grinding" of the media like every other product on the market, even with high water flow. This is a MUST try. I will never go back to any other phosphate media. Period.
