Comments: This is a low-quality product. The timer was unreliable from the beginning, and stopped working completely in less than a month. I contacted the company, to find that they do not stand behind their products. I do not believe that this item should be sold at all. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I used these when it was owned by Coralife. I have a Coralife timer that is 4 years old and works great. I am on my third Zilla timer and they have all failed. The actinic switch to lunar lights fails after about one week on all three units now. I would not recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: i wont even bother buying these strip timers havent found one with good reviews and being cheap at the same time yet.there is such thing as a nice wave maker thats cheap hint* it connects to your sumps out put. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Like everybody else, timer got stuck after about 3 months. Too bad. I like the product but the quality is poor. Should've read the reviews before I wasted my money. I would not recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: The timers lagged a little from the start, which I didn't find a big deal. Just a little adjustment every couple weeks. But, after one year of use, one of the timers started to stick...either leaving the lights on or off. Currently, I have to mess with the timer everyday, which means the timer does not work. So, I'm shopping for a new timer set-up. I was going to give Zilla another try, but not after reading all the reviews with my same experience. I cannot recommend this product. I would not recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Bought one and timers stopped working. Returned it and got a replacement. That one had the same thing happen. I've heard of others having worse disasters than mine - i.e. fire. I wouldn't sell this thing to my worst enemy. Go to Walmart and buy a couple of cheap digital timers and some power bars. Don't forget the ground fault interrupter - a potential life saver. I would not recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I have had 2 in 3 months. Both stopped working by leaving the metal halides on - stress to inverts like you wouldn't believe because tank is in an office. This is terrible. I hope my mushroom will recover from the 48 to 72 hours straight under the halides but several nocturnal scavengers were wasting away by refusing to move out of their caves. I would not recommend this product to my friends.

Don't Waste Your Money by Reefer

Comments: I've had 3 of these and all of them have had the timers break. One broke in the first week the other 2 lasted a couple of months. The timers themselves are hard to set and not very accurate. I'm very disappointed in this product. No other company makes a similar timer that will let me program dawn to dusk and lunar cycles. So, I've gone back to using 3 separate old-school timers you can get at any hardware store. I would not recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Timer on one side controlling the 3 yellow plugs was not dependable. I am going back to the dials. I would not recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Settings started wandering the 2nd day; it had a mind of its own & the switches did nothing 1st week. I traded out several times with LFS. The opposite of peace of mind for such an expensive hobby. I would not recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I bought this timer and the actinic timer stopped working in about a week. The timer would not turn the lights off. I unplugged it for about 5 minutes and it seemed to reset the unit for a while but I had the same problem again. I reset it again and it worked for about 4 days and this time it seems as though unplugging the unit isn't helping the problem. Now I am back to the old school dial type of timer for my actinics. My metal halides seem to be working fine on this timer. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I wish a another company would make something similar or atleast make all digital product either way the design needs to be changed. I bought one 18 months ago and the Atinic switch stoped working after a few months. So I bought another one and the daylight switch stopped working after 2 days. I now use both of them one for Atinic and the other for daylight hardly efficent but since there is no other item that controls all 3 stages of lights. One day maybe they will get it right. I would not recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: This unit is not reliable. The first one I purchased did not work (the first timer simply did not operate, allowing the halide lights to remain on all night). Returned it for a second unit, which operated for about 4 months. Again, the first timer is erratic. UNRELIABLE and FRUSTRATING! I would not recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I have bought 6 of these timers now...all have broken after a month or two! For the application that I am using it for I can't find anything else that will work, so I guess I'll just complain. I would not recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Tried two of these. Nice idea, but Both DID NOT work properly after a short time. Timers stick, and must be monitored. So what's the point? Save your money, try something else. I would not recommend this product to my friends.

Excellent!

Comments: Have had two for approximately one year. Recently, one has become "sticky" and timer is erratic. They are both mounted in cabinet above sump, so I think humidity is a factor. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I have gone thru 6 of these units in 4 months. Luckily my LFS has replaced them free of charge. I ned to find an alternative fast. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME. You have been warned. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Excellent!

Comments: Have 2 of these timers. One quite working with a week, but only because I got it wet. I now use it as a non-timed power strip. Both are outside the stand and no further problems in over a year. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
