Comments: Don't buy it. It will randomly reset the clock time when you plug/unplug things and wipe out the program memory so you constantly have to reset the time. Waste of money. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: This product is excellent. I ordered a week ago and already have it! The description is a little confusing and the timer doesn't do exactly what I had hoped though. It works very well and the programming on it is very easy. The constant power outlets are nice, and the day/night outlets are a little confusing. The day outlets(yellow) are the programmable ones, and not independently. If you program daytime use, you get both outlets. The night outlets come on automatically when the day outlets shut off. If you are wanting to use a timer for lighting, heat and humidity, like I am, then you need at least a dual timer. This timer won't do everything you need it to do. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: This appeard to be exactly what I was looking for, which was a digital timer for my reef tank! After 2 weeks, it stopped working!!! My lights won't turn off automatically. Now, I have to go through the headache of returning this! I actually have two of these. The other one is still working. I would not recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: This item works just fine and I like it. However, I thought that the four timered outlets with would give me lots of options for wave making and timed lights. Turns out that only two have power at any given time (back and forth for day/night or wave action), and those two sets each have the same timer program. Not as versatile as I was expecting. I solved the problem somewhat by plugging a separate timer into the constant power side, so I have a bit more flexibility that way. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: My timer is four days old. It is controlling a 14 gallon Nano. It does all it claims to (so far). The programming is relatively easy, though I don't know why one would have 8 cycles in the day with only two outlets either on or off. I could use more "hot" outlets to power my extra power-head, and protein skimmer, etc. I should have read the description more closely and a review or two. What I expected was independent night and day cycles -- with the ability ot overlap if necessary. I would have used the night cycle to power the Actinic light, overlapping the 10K daylight one hour before and after. However day and night cycles are exclusive -- one is on the other is off. So that means the blue lighting could turn on earlier than the daylight, but not be able to turn off, without turning the daylight back on again. (confusing?) Anyway the manufacturers of this device should changed the programming to allow for independent cycles. But is this limitation does not affect you, It works as described. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: The power center works great as a powerstrip and timer. The only things that I have found wanting of it would be to be able to control both sets of day/night outlets independently. That, and also most moon-lights are attached plugged in through a larger adapter, so there is no way to be able to plug in two standard moon-lights at the same time. There are ways around that though, so it was not a big problem. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: i have had my timer for about 2 months, and in this time some how the timer crapped out. it stopped working. I came home at about 2 one night to discover that my lights were still on, so everyday for the past week i have had to turn the lights on in the morning at 7 and then off when i get home at 8.30; and this is horrible, im going with a timer strip that is worth the money I would not recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: This was very easy to setup. Just set the clock and then the time main lights go on and it automatically turns the moon lights on when the main lights are scheduled to go off. Allows you to set each day of the week independently or M-F independently to Sat and Sun. Exactly what i needed. It also allows you to overide the timers by hitting the on or off button to turn lights on or off for maintenace Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I bought one of these from a local fish store.. I had it about 2 months and the display stopped working. Also had a very hard time with getting it to set the right times when i first got it. Really its not worth the money. Don't get waste your money! I would not recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I would suggest either standard timers or spend the cash for a simple controller. This system does not allow enough freedom to controll individual outlets, just a simple "on" or "off". Only 6 of the 8 outlets can operate at once. Great if that's what you want, but I wanted a little more. I would not recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: These things are a ticking time bomb. The Coralife timers / power centers are well known for failing and even causing fires. Search on forums such as Reef Central, people have posted pics of their tanks and entire rooms that burned down as a result of these power strips / timers. I would not recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: It's just too bad that this product stops working as it should. This would be a great product if it worked as it should, which it did for about four months. Then the day was night and vice-versa. Also, the switch started controlling all plugs not the four that it is supposed to. I'm going back to the company for a new unit, but I even if I get a new unit, it appears to be a matter of time before it happens again. And what I'm I supposed to do while I'm out of pocket with this one? Buy another one? I don't think so. Too bad indeed! I would not recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: "On" mode isn't supposed to turn everything on, only the yellow outlets. "Off" mode turns the blue outlets on. The other 4 outlets are always on. I agree that outlets are too close together though. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Didn't buy from here, however, agree with other review. Digital display wouldn't work, color-coded safety switches on outlets came already broken, and timer outlets wouldn't work by default I would not recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I'm kinda baffled why so many people are having problems with this power strip. I've owned this for 6 months and it works flawlessly. Running 55g long tank for a ball python. 3 100w lights and air pump. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
