Control Interface Hardware (IM513)
The control interface module plugs into a standard 120V AC socket and connects to the base unit with a ten foot cable. The AquaController sends on, off and dim commands to the control interface module which then transmits them over the AC power lines in your home to the remote control modules. The control modules receive these commands and turn AC power on or off to the devices. If the AquaController is used to control any device, one control interface module is required per system. |

Control Modules
Every device to be controlled by the AquaController needs a control module to receive commands. The control module receives commands transmitted over the AC power lines. If the control module's ID number matches that of the broadcast command's ID, then the control module turns the device either on or off. A total of 20 different control modules can be controlled by one AquaController. |
Lamp Control Module (CM465)
The lamp control module is used to simulate the moon cycle with an incandescent bulb. This control module responds to both on, off and intensity commands sent from the AquaController. This module can only be used with incandescent lamps of 300 watts or less. |

3 Terminal Control Module (CM466)
The 3 terminal control module is general purpose control module which includes the ground pin. It can be used for switching resistive as well as inductive loads. Uses include heaters, chillers, lighting systems, pumps, and powerheads. This control module responds to only the on and off commands sent from the AquaController. Its max specifications are 500W incandescent lamp, 1/3 HP motor load, or 15A resistive load. The physical dimensions of the module are 2.3" x 2.9" x 1.4". |

Alarm Module (CM506)
The alarm control module contains an piezo sounder (beeper) which is used to indicate out of range conditions in the aquarium. This control module also has an isolated contact relay which can be used to open and close circuits. Either the sounder, the contact relay or both may be activated by the AquaController. The sounder and the relay can either momentary or continuous operation. The contacts are rated for 5 amps at 24 volts DC. The physical dimensions of the module are 2.3" x 3.6" x 1.8". |

Noise Filter—5 amp (NF5)
Most appliances do not generate interference that affects X10 operation. However, occasionally you may come across an appliance that generates enough noise to affect reliable X10 operation. Simply plug the appliance into this filter and then plug it back into the receptacle to remote the noise. This devices also completely blocks X10 signals so you can use to it to isolate a group of devices on a power strip as long as the total load does not exceed 5A. The physical dimensions of the module are 2.3" x 2.9" x 1.4".
Noise Filter—15amp (NF15)
This completely blocks X10 signals so you can use to it to isolate a group of devices on a power strip as long as the total load does not exceed 15A.
Signal Bridge (SBLEV)
Many homes have a 2 phase 220V power supply which is split into 2 110V legs within the house. Sometimes the X10 signal will not reliably get from one leg of the 110V wiring to the other leg of the 110V wiring. The signal bridge is installed at the breaker box and provides a a clear X10 signal path from one leg to the other. This device is only necessary on installations where X10 control is required on multiple circuits and the some of the circuits are on the opposite phase. |
Direct Connect 4 (DC4)
The Direct Connect 4 modules features 4 relay controlled outlets each capable of switching 120V at 8 Amps. The DC4 enables a very reliable hardwired connection between the AquaController and all controlled devices - X10 interference problems caused by noisey electronic ballasts (i.e. Blueline) are eliminated. NOTE: Due to the high inrush current (greater than 40 Amps) on ICECAP ballasts, we do not recommend that you use this module to control these ballasts. Use the DC4HD instead. |

The DC8 enables a very reliable hardwired connection between the AquaController and all controlled devices - X10 interference problems caused by noisey electronic ballasts (i.e. Blueline) are eliminated. NOTE: This module is suitable for use on ICECAP™ ballasts. |

NOTE: This module is suitable for use on ICECAP™ ballasts; it utilizes large relays which can withstand the high inrush currents on these ballasts. |
