IceCap's HID Electronic Ballast is the most efficient 150-watt available. It provides superior energy savings through an active 'Power Factor Correction' input stage, ensuring a P.F. of over 97% for any line/load condition. Benefits are:

Superior Ignition
Unlike competitor's ballasts, which employ "hard" pulse ignition, IceCap's ballast employs patented "soft" high-frequency ignitions, virtually elimination the bulb's electrode wear (which is the major factor causing lamp aging and failure). Benefits are:
- Reduced "lumen degradation" resulting in almost constant light output over the bulb's useful life.

Embedded Microprocessor Control

Universal Voltage Input
Ballasts will operate reliably and at full power at any voltage between 85 and 265 volts, 60 or 50 Hz. This means this ballasts will deliver full power even in brownout conditions.
