Anampses meleagrides
the Anampses meleagrides or Yellowtail Wrasse requires fine substrate as wrasse prefers to burrow. Does not do well in captivity long term.

Diet: The Anampses meleagrides is a carnivore and likes to eat small invert (amphipods & foraminiferans), live feeder shrimp, worms.
Level of Care: The Yellowtail Wrasse is a high maintenance fish.
Behavior: The Yellowtail Wrasse may act peacefully toward other fish.
Hardiness: Difficult to keep in capitivity
Water Conditions: Keep water quality high (SG 1.020 - 1.025, pH 8.1 - 8.4, Temp. 72 - 78 F).
