The Ekip can be used as a powerhead for undergravel filters, as a pump for an internal biological filter, or for any use where heated water is needed in the aquarium or terrarium. Totally safe and reliable, works both vertically and horizontally. The Ekip will switch itself off in the event it runs dry for a short period of time. For freshwater and marine aquariums. UL listed.
