| The tweezers are a useful tool for the removal of hairy algae. To prevent the algae, that have been plucked off, to swim around in the aquarium, the tweezers are supplied with a hose connection for a 0.47" (12mm) hose. This can be connected to a canister filter—or used for a water change. The plucked off algae ends up in the filter and cannot fix themselves elsewhere in the aquarium. |
