| Kent Marine Tech D Coral Dip & Conditioner
|
|
|
 |
Kent Marine Tech-D Coral Dip & Conditioner disinfects corals and many other invertebrates to prevent the spread of bacterial and protozoan disease. Designed for all stony corals, and most soft corals. Tech-D is economical to use, each ounce will make about 1½ gallons of dip!
Considerations for use: Never use Tech-D Coral Dip & Conditioner in an aquarium. It is for use as a short time dip only! Tech-D is useful for small polyped stony corals, large polyped stonies, leather corals, and most soft corals. It is not recommended for colonial or other anemones, gorgonians, or polyps. Only dip for the recommended 6 to 7 minutes. Longer times may cause damage to the animal. Because these animals are individuals, carefully observe them while using. If negative reactions are noted, such as excessive slime production, discontinue use on that animal.
Each batch of dip can be used on several corals. Use until there is slime buildup in the dip or it is noticeably dirty. Dip potency will drop overnight, once mixed, so only prepare the amount required for each use, then discard prepared dip each day.
For fastest growth, once the coral is in the aquarium, Kent Marine Essential Elements and Coral-Vite should be used simultaneously with Tech-I Iodine supplement to replace those minerals lost in protein skimming and filtration and used up by corals and other invertebrates. Calcium should be added via Kalkwasser Mix, Concentrated Liquid Calcium, Turbo-Calcium or new Kent Tech-CB, parts A & B. Tanks with heavy coral populations require additional strontium to that which is in the Coral-Vite. Use Strontium & Molybdenum Supplement or Turbo-Strontium for this. Macro algae will require the Iron supplement, as well. Live corals require strong lighting of proper spectrum and immaculately clean systems. Regular water changes are encouraged. Use Kent Marine Superbuffer-dKH to control alkalinity and prevent pH swings.
Contents: Deionized water, iodine, potassium iodide, potassium bromide, proprietary bromine compound, stabilizers. |

| Kent Marine Rx-P Parasite Treatment |
 |
Revolutionary Expert SeriesTM Rx-PTM - a real breakthrough in controlling parasites in Marine Fish
- A triple acting treatment for saltwater ich and other parasites
- Not some rotten sugar-vinegar concoction that claims to "make ich go dormant"
- Not just a pepper sauce, RxPTM treats multiple stages
- Thin consistency - not a barbecue gravy that pollutes the aquarium
- Highly effective, works better than copper, yet leaves no residual toxic metals after treatment!
- Contains only natural ingredients
- Can be used with most invertebrates (with caution), if you have strong biological filtration, such as a sufficiently sized wet dry filter, and a properly adjusted protein skimmer (the hobbyist much take care since marine parasites are invertebrates - RxP will stress other invertebrates - read all directions below!)
- Contains no copper or carcinogenic dyes
- Can be used with Sharks, Rays and scaleless fish
- Does not cause lateral line disease, like metal based treatments do!
- An 8 oz. bottle will treat a 50 gallon tank for one full treatment (13 days)
Kent Marine Rx-P is a triple acting treatment for saltwater ich and can be used with most invertebrates with caution. Do not use with lionfish, stonefish, scorpion fish, starfish, sea urchins, medusa worms, sea apples, sea cucumbers or nudibranchs! |

| Kent Marine Poly-Ox Red Slime Remover |
 |
Poly Ox is an organic material oxidizer. It does not contain any algaecide. It assists in preventing growth of various cyanobacteria (commonly called red or blue-green slime algae) by simply removing their food source. It will oxidize leftover food, and dissolved and suspended organic matter. This will increase the water quality and provide a better environment for your fish and invertebrates!
Considerations for use: Poly Ox is strong and should be handled with care! It stains skin and clothing! Tank water can temporarily be discolored. If used indiscriminately, Poly Ox can kill inhabitants, so follow the directions! Poly Ox must not be used on systems less than 30 days old or immediately after major water changes (>30%). There must be enough organic matter either dissolved or suspended in the water to necessitate treatment. While using, carefully observe inhabitants. If animals seem stressed, discontinue use immediately. If immediate termination of treatment is desired, a single dose of Kent Ammonia Detox in the same amount of the last addition of Poly Ox will deactivate this product. Wait 2 days after the addition of new animals to continue use. Do not use with chelated copper medications particularly Copper Power brand!
The marine method is completely safe for invertebrates and marine fish. This method takes time, so be patient! True algae will not be affected by Poly Ox. Continue running skimmers. Do not use with ozone, and wait 1 week after ozone use to apply. If you have a redox meter, do not exceed 460 mv! It is recommended that you suspend carbon or resin filtration during use. A large partial water change and a fresh charge of Kent Marine Reef Carbon is recommended at the termination of treatment. After carbon use, apply the appropriate Kent Essential trace mineral for your system. |
