Comments: Once the tweaking ends, after a day or two, the performance of this puppy is awesome! Bare in mind, however, that tweaking can be a bit challenging at first: getting just the right amount of air to produce the bubble thickness consistency desired, placing/raising the skimmer high enough above the water sump level for consistent performance, placing the skimmer pump away from the direct return of the skimmer so as to avoid excessive wet bubble production. The results are well worth it; My corals and fish looked as if rejuvenated by the new cleaner and now highly oxygenated water. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: This package is a bargain. Protein Skimmer is very efficient and does not make a lot of noise like other skimmers. Highly recommended for hobbyists from beginners to experts. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I am so glad I bought this skimmer it works great. It has no moving parts at all, so it should last a lifetime. If I were to buy another I would get one with a mag 7 pump though. The instructions in the box recommend the 7 for max performance. The mag 7 will allow you to overdrive the skimmer. If you are looking to buy a new skimmer dont hesitate, buy this one with a mag 7 pump. You will be happy you did. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: IT TOOK A FEW DAYS TO BREAK IN AND TO GET THE WATER LEVEL IN THE SKIMMER JUST RIGHT. I HAVE IT SITTING IN MY SUMP WITH THE DRAIN GOING INTO A ONE GALLON MILK CARTON. ITS PRODUCING A GOOD AMOUNT OF SKIM WITH VERY FEW AIR BUBBLES GOING BACK INTO THE SUMP.I THINK ITS ONLY GOING TO GET BETTER. I WOULD DEFINITLY RECCOMMEND THIS PRODUCT TO ANY ONE WHO CONSIDERING BUYING A PROTEIN SKIMMER.WORTH THE EXTRA BUCKS. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I purchased the EV120, w/ JG fitting and the Mag 5. The skimmer never really worked well, and the JG fitting needs to be pluged up if you arent using it for the ozone dump. Shoulda came with that imo. Anyways after a few months of not skimming very well i decided to try and mod it. I pulled out the spray injector, which is a pvc elbow with an acrylic tube in it. I noticed that it was just crimped, so i heated it up on my gas stove and crimped it some more. Prolly closed it to half the original size. Anyways, that worked very well, in 3 days time i had made more skim than from a month before the mod. So if yours isnt working like ya want it, check it out. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: The Aqua C Product is awesome, great at extracting DOM from seawater. The only problem I had was getting the correct plumbing parts to connect the MAG 5 pump to the skimmer. With a RIO 2100 there are added parts to allow for easy connection to the skimmer (assuming that you have the correct size tubing). Since this is being sold as a "KIT" it should have a few hose clamps and tubing for out of the box installation. You will need tubing, clamps, and a 1.2 adapter to allow you to connect to the MAG 5 pump without stripping the threaded outflow from the pump. I would recommend that you add these parts to your "KITS" and adjust the retail price so that the consumer can set up more easily without having to order 3 or 4 more times from them to get all the parts necessary. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I had a little trouble adjusting it with the mag 5 pump, I ended up pinching the spray port to get a stronger spray and that seemed to do the trick, now I cant stop it from producing green foam I would not recommend this product to my friends.
