the worms go in the trap, but then come right back out. you have to catch them in the act and pull out the trap. the last time i did it, they all got stuck in the entry hole. i had to pull them out piece by piece. not a pleasant task.

Check it every couple of hours as they can eventually find their way back out when they run out of food. If you leave it overnight, likely you'll have an empty trap in the morning, but put it in for an hour or two, and pull out dozens. This works like magic, I add in food, drop in the water, put one side up against the rock, and within minutes the worms are going into the trap. Brilliant!

All I have to say is WOW!!!!!!!! This trap is AMAZING!!!! The first 10 min. it was in the tank, I caught 3 worms!!!! My tank is in excellent condition and I have no idea how the worms got in there but this trap is taking care of them, that is for sure. So easy to use and so effective. I absolutely recomend this product to everyone. You can also use pellet fish food when you run out of the bait it comes with. Make sure you remove the traps and dispose of the worms because if there are 3 or 4 in there, the others will stay away. Great product!!!!!!! Maria.

Unless you have really huge worms. I watched one try to get in for a half hour before he gave up. Considering I have caught some that were 8 inches long I wonder just HOW big this guy is.
I have had the best luck using a gel food, the dried shrimp that came with it were pretty useless

A must buy if you have Bristle Worms! Started working right away, caught 5 in 30 min. Only advise I'd give is, at least with mine, is empty within an hour cause the darn things seem to find a way out. Frozen Krill and Brine Shrimp seemed to work the best. As always great service and shipping

The tube definitely works, just not that great. The worms easily crawl right out. I put it in at night, watch until I see a worm or more than one crawl in it and then I pull it out. Then I just reset it. I left it in several nights and the food was gone but I didn't catch a single worm so I resorted to pulling them out right away. Because I don't catch any when I leave it in all night it is taking me a lot longer than I thought to catch all of them. These worms are gross!

This product seems to be working ok. I let the population of Bristle worms in my aquarium get out of hand. I have been averaging about three to four worms a night that I catch. I had to make the hole biggher however because two of the worms I have were too big for the tiny hole. They kept getting their head in and couldn't fit the rest of their body. The food that is supplied doesn't work as well as other foods. The stuff that I found works the best is the frozen coniferous foods. It seems like the worms like the meats and not so much the vegitation. I would recomend this product as long as the user has patience
