fractionating impeller issue

Comments: i replaced my danner mag pump for my protein aqua C skimmer with a danner mag with fractionating impeller but it seems like my regular pump was working better than this one. I'm dissapointed!

Comments: Bought one in October, working fine until 2 weeks ago, when it makes noise and no water flow. Since I already have the setup plumbed for it, I bought another one hoping it'll last longer.

Comments: This is the third danner Model 18 I have bought, sadly the quality has went down. Although no surprise it now is made in China. It will be the last one I will buy since it is not made in the USA. Thanks

BEST IN CLASS PERIOD

Comments: I had a RIO 10HF and it caught on fire luckly it went out before burning my house down. I purchased a Supreme Model 5. This pump is built in the USA and meets all federal guidelines unlike Rios and others etc. I have a 100 gallons saltwater fish only tank. I use pump for return. The best thing about this pump is it can run wet and dry. My RIO caught fire because my overflow boxed failed and my RIO 10HF can't run dry only submerged. Last the Supreme 5 can shoot up 7 feet with ease. (My tank is really high because of my custom stand.)

Tons of Tiny Bubbles but...

Comments: This is a great pump for the money; it makes tons of tiny bubbles in my skimmer but it's just lucky that my skimmer isn't any taller because the pumps are about 14" below the water surface and they quit making bubbles at about 15" water depth. Also, I wish the venturi was threaded on both ends; it threads into the pump but it's a hose barb on the other end.... I ended up putting threads on the barb end for my skimmer.
