With the EcoSmart Upgrade, you can transform your MP20 to an MP40w ES. EcoSmart technology and new modes will create realistic tidal currents within your aquarium. Multiple VorTech units will wirelessly communicate with one another and coordinate modes. Simply put, EcoSmart the smartest thing you can put in your tank. Inlcudes MP40w ES driver and appropriate power supply.

The new EcoSmart driver has more modes, is highly controllable and can sync with all wireless VorTechs.

Comments: I had an old MP40 pump and wanted to add a second MP40. Of course the new pump was the MP40 wireless version and I wanted them to work together in anti-sync mode. It took about 90 seconds to upgrade the driver. This upgrade is very well thought out and executed! all of the parts are there and the instructions were easy to follow!

Comments: I've been using the Ecosmart ES Driver with my MP10 for a few days now. The expanded capabilities the Ecosmart has unlocked are well worth the price. I particularly like the fact that I can set the speeds and times for feed mode, night mode, etc. instead of being limited to the few pre set features on the old controller. So far everything in my tank is responding better. I definitely like the Nutrient Transport Mode.

Comments: All I can say is WOW! I've upgraded my MP20 to MP40W and what a difference it made! It only took a few minutes to install a new driver. Now i want to get another MP40W for my 55g coral reef tank! Ecotechmarine makes the best pumps on the market.

Comments: I have a 65 gallon tank and figured that the MP20 would be plenty of power for my tank. However after 5 months of using this at 100% power and still having some cyano I decided that it was time for this upgrade. And I have to say is that it is amazing at how much of a difference it has made. I now run the pump at about 40% and it is plenty of power for my tank. The new features are also amazing. My fish and corals seem to be pretty happy with the new flow as well
