The new EHEIM Compact Pump series for use under water is available with three different outputs: 80, 160 and 265 gph. They are suitable for use in aquariums, keeping and rearing tanks where reliable water conveyance, circulation or flow is required.

- Pump Output: 80 gph
- Max Head: 1`7"
- Hose Size: 1/2"
- Dimensions: 2.1" x 1.4" x 2.0"

After 6 months the pumps are still working. They were perfect at first but now they are very noisy in my fresh water tank. The suction cups quit sticking after 3 months. I am going to replace them with two pumps that hopefully have better ratings.

So far, this is a good little pump. The adjustable volume is nice and it can be used for mixing salt or other small jobs. The 1/2" clear hose fits right on it. One thing that I didn't like, is that the suction cup feet come off of it way too easily.

Bought two of these pumps to replace the stock pumps in a JBJ 28g AIO. Fits perfect in the back chambers and is very quiet. Also I reduced the pump flow rate on the replacements to accomodate a freshwater planted tank. I couldnt be happier with these pumps and the price is right!

Perfect for nano tanks. I've been running it for 3 years now without any issues. Very quite and produces little heat.

I wanted a gentle circulation for my freshwater plants. Two small Ehiem pumps on each side of the tank is just right. This is a quality product and I would recommend it to anyone who wants gentle circulation only. For a fish only tank I would have gone with the mid size pump.

My 40G tank is in the den, where we are most evenings. I've done everything I can reduce noise. I'm stuck with a baseline hum from the Tunze circulating pump, but it's not too bad, better than any other i've tried. I've put the VorTech on a timer so that it's off between 7 - 11. To keep the water moving I've installed 4 Eheim 300 on an Accella "wave maker." These 4 pumps are cycling 6' from my ear & I can't hear them over the background noise. They don't move a lot of water, but if you aim them right, and stagger the cycling, they produce a fair amount of random, chaotic, turbulence. If my corals are unhappy w/ this arrangement, they haven't let it stunt their growth. In a smaller tank this arrangement might be all the movement you need. This applies only to the 300. The 600s are audible. Not bad, but not silent.

I got this pump for a phosphate reactor. It has a variable output and wide open puts out a nice stream. Way nicer than my MJ400 I have on my other phos reactor. Very quiet.

I have been ordering for 4 yrs now. Great service every time. This pump worked great for my TLF 150 reactor. Just the right amount of flow for carbon.
