Hydor Koralia Evolution

The Koralia Evolution 600 fills a gap that we were getting requests for. The Nano 425 is great, but the next pump up was our 750-gph. We had many people looking for something in the middle. You could call the 600 a Nano on steroids, or a bulked up Nano. The Koralia Evolution 600 has a full size magnet, and the 600-gph is great for all medium size reef tanks.

The combination suction cup + magnet can safely hold Koralia positioned in tanks with glass (or acrylic) up to 15mm – ½ inch thick.

Comments: I had previouly purchased a HK Evolution 1050 which gave me some trouble, not starting or starting backwards. It did eventually corrected itself. This unit the 1150 has been great from day one withour any issues at all. I would recommend this unit.

Comments: High end pump !!!replaced my Hydor 1200 that were 5 yrs old, 1500 are AWESUM!!!!GREAT PRICE ANd A SMALL SIZE!!!I put them running side by side and you could REALY TELL THE DIFFERENCE!!!! IM VERY HAPPPPPY!!! THANKS YOU GUYS GREAT SERVICE!!!THIS IS THE ONLY PLACE TO BUY !!!!!

Comments: If your not using a wave maker this will work fine for you tank. If your using a wave maker, when they alternate zones the pumps make a loud clicking noise.

Comments: This pump helps greatly with circulation in my 6 foot 125. The pump starts out like grinding gears when it first turns on then it quiets down, I run a smaller 750 Hydor & it's starts are as quiet as can be. I guess it's just due to the size of it. This is a good circulating pump, it's just not so easy on the ears on start ups & I run them on a controller so I hear it often. But I thought the evolution line was known for quieter start ups, I'm not so sure about that.

Comments: I love these pumps,they are smaller than others and with more water flow. They have a nice grill design that helps keep smaller fish out while they are in the off position. I have 3 of them on a smart wave. This is a nice set up that can have great random flow if set up right. They do have a slight click on start up but nothing that's annoying. I have mine switching every hour so I don't even notice it. If the click was gone they would be a five star pump.

Comments: First i'd like to say the price was almost half of what it was in any LFS. Moreover, the wavemaker its self is outstanding in almost everyway. Good design, very powerful, and with its great magnet/suction cup attachment. Onlydrawback to me was the cord was to short. But i have a very large and deep tank.
