Introducing the new 250/400 HQI pendant. The pendant accepts both 250 Watt and 400 Watt HQI bulbs by simply adjusting the ceramic lamps sockets. These pendants are built to last, made from Aluminum, which is powder coated and guaranteed to never rust. The computer designed reflector system incorporates the 95% reflectivity of “Alanod Miro 4”, the best reflective material available.

Made for a saltwater environment
Made to accomodate all versions of the 400-watt DE MH bulbs

Pendant comes with tempered glass shield
Finally a pendant you don`t outgrow
Dimensions (L x W X H): 15" x 8.75" x 5"

Recommended for any 40 gallon or larger tank. Can be connected to any IceCap electronic or your 250 or 400-watt MH ballast. Female adaptors are available to make any ballast a quick disconnect. When you have plans for a larger tank or just the flexibility to change your lighting, the best becomes the least expensive pick.

Comments: This unit worked great for my 60 gallon cube. For 400 Watt bulbs you will have to adjust the posts on the pendant but this only takes 5 minutes. The coverage on the aquarium is perfect and there are no shadows in the tank. Just buy some hardware to hang the unit from the ceiling and you are set.

Get's the job done!

Comments: The fixture is great; it's somewhat bare-bones (no fan/hanging hardware), but very high quality (solid/easy to connect to your icecap ballast). If you're searching for a nice looking fixture but aren't in the mood the break the bank you'll be very satisfied with this one. The only real drawback I would point to is the lack of hanging hardware or at least some sort of eye-bolt. As a heads up, I would go to the hardware store to get some 1/4" eye-bolts before you receive this fixture.

Simply The Best

Comments: Just put the bulb in and plug it in and let there be LIGHT! Simple well built and to have the ability to have 250/400 is a plus. Only thing I would have to say to someone buying this, go to the hardware store and get an I-bolt and some spare electrical wire. Cheaper and does the same as the hanger kit would do. Make sure you change the sockets for 400 watt before you hang it though. I have 3 of them as well as the 400 watt ballasts, if I needed more I'd definitly get this one!

Awesome Pendant

Comments: I have the current-usa solana tank (20x20x20) and I just added the ice cap with the lumatek ballast. The pendant at 6 inches above the tank or even a little lower if you want gives great light coverage both front to back and side to side. It could be used on a bigger tank with no problems at all. Using the 250w phoenix bulb it looks a little on the blue side but the corals look great. I also bought the hanging kit. You have to go to a hardware store and buy a hook to hang it check my review on that. As for the tank heating up I used a 4 inch clip on fan and the tank was at 80 degrees at the end of the day with the ambient temp in the house at 86. All in all an awesome pendant.

A headache but worth it.

Comments: When I first recieved the pendant it was set for a 400 hqi. After I changed the sockets, due to icecaps poor assembly for one nut that secured one end of the bulb. I know that it was not your fault so I went to the local hardware store for the nut which was 80 cents which is better than paying for return shipping and less hassle even though you guys have excellent customer service. But once it was up and running it was well worth it.

Good light...now

Comments: I had this running for about 6 months, then it burned through the wires internally. Sent it back to the manufacturer and they finally repaired it and sent it back. The new ones have different wires
