Comments: I purchased this aquarium, light, and stand on April 5, 2012. When I received it, I was rather disappointed as:* The stand's top surface area was cracked in two corners and several of the edges of the panels were chipped* The stand wasn't sturdy when built and easily swayed side to side* The silicone was carelessly placed (i.e. it was uneven)* The acrylic filter wall was scratched* The white adhesive covering that covered the back area was carelessly placed (i.e. it had bubbles, unevenly cut)Now after eight months of normal use, the aquarium is even in worse condition:* The stand is warping in multiple areas* The plastic on the Skyee light is bubbling in multiple areas* Because the silicon was improperly added, algae is growing (and can't be removed) under the silicon* The white adhesive covering is peelingFurther, after reading the company's warranty policy I can't do anything at this point -- I was only made aware of their 6-month limited warranty when I visited their website (there wasn't any documentation in the package I received).I've been very disappointed by the quality of this company's products. I highly hope they improve their products or standby their products by providing a warranty policy that covers all aspects of their products for at least a year.

Comments: This company has superb customer service. If your tank does arrive with any defects, contact the company. I bought a tank from them that arrived with a defect. I contacted them, and they immediatetly sent a new tank plus some nice freebies for my troubles. Take the initiative to let the company correct problems before totally dismissing them. One of the best companies I've found for customer service.

Stand defect, chips in wood

Comments: I was super excited about this tank. I've been planning on this upgrade since I moved and had to part out my old Mr Aqua cube. The tank arrived in 3 boxes. Tank, Stand and Light. The Tank and Stand boxes were enormous and although packed very well, was very messy with popcorn. I noticed a big chunk out of the front door stand upon first glance as well as some chipping of edges revealing the wood underneath the paint. I was a bit disappointed with that. The tank itself was filled with this filmy white substance in which it was a night ware rinsing out. Overall, I like the tank, but less than satisfied with how it came shipped and how I have to live with the production flaws for such an expensive purchase.
