Very nice lighting system but was not enough for the 5 sided 400 gallon 28" deep install. We had to leave the existing 2 48" marineland leds to provide more light. This system is perhaps the best system at this time if you want led. We used 4 pods in the center. we had to secure an alum channel with ties to reinforce the supplied support as it came in pieces held only by small screws. Although every expensive, we feel that it is currently the best led providing feature like tilting the pods, changable led and 3 different angle option lenses, dusk to dawn remote control settings and overall quality of componets. This system will set the pace for future led lighting for aquarium

First thing first follow the manual its real easy I had the module hooked up and running with the controller the same day I got it. The hanging bracket needs a little work but there are plenty of options not listed here that are on the coralvue website. Overall awesome system can't wait to see the impact. Buy some black zip ties helps with making things nice and tidy.

I found these lights to work very well and are very bright. I installed two over a 90 gal reef with the 100% lens covers and its plenty of light coverage. The only down fall as with everyone else says is the mounting brackets, and the controller. The controller was a little confusing at first, but with a call to curlvue i was able to figure them out. As far as the mounts go, you are better off making your own like i did. i just mounted the brackets that came with it to the canopy with some screws from home depot, and sent back the brackets i brought for it worked great.

The lights are awesome, whether mode is a nice feature also. The controller gets use to, and Luckily I got the limited edition which came with a metal stand. The plastic stands are to frail to handle the light with confidence. I would suggest hanging them with the hanging kit, or get a second stand. Many different ways to set it up.

I own several of the top LED fixtures and the Mazarra is my favorite. The colors that it produces are far superior to my other units and it has a very nice even spread. The review that talks about it being cheap and nothing working as stated is just a garbage review. This unit requires you to read the manual, this is something that many hate but if you don’t read it you will end up writing a negative review for this product. The controller is brilliant once you understand how it works. My only issue with it is the mounting system. It is kind of odd and the metal does bent easily, BUT it is very customizable and that is a huge pro.

The lights are very bright and easy to use once you read the manuel. My tank is new and cycling so no corals or inverts yet. The one thing I do know before I get into the reef part of the tank is that I will need a third Panel of lights for my 90 gal. The hardware is a little shakey I tightened it up with a trip to home depot.

First, the lights for this system are awesome!!! My tank responded very quickly and everything looks great!! It is easy to program and makes everything look great!!! The railing system on the other hand leaves a lot to be desired. I have a 175 gallon tank that is 80" long. The railing that came with the 4 module setup ( which was supposed to be plenty long) didn't come close. I had to buy an extra set and it still didn't have the pieces needed to make it work. I was able to rearrange the setup and make it work, but it is still far from perfect. After set up was complete, I set it up above the tank to discover that one of the ball joint mounts was stripped. Fortunately, I was working on the setup and caught the light module before it fell into the tank. I am waiting on more replacement parts and will update this review if the parts fix the problems. Customer Service has been awesome and everyone is doing their best to resolve the situation.

The light itself is great, the controller doesn't really make sense but it works, once you get used to it. The mounting for the lights is complete garbage mine is bent bent up and won't sit level, the ball joints still don't work (they were never fixed from the old units) everything is held together with the cheapest of materials, the bolts are all plastic and mine were completely stripped out. The controller does not mount to the unit as pictured it dangles from a plastic bolt and looks terrible. You will have to make mounts to hold this thing up over a tank and will most likely need to use zip ties to make anything secure. I would recommend this only to someone of will mount this inside a canopy using your own hardware (do not use there's it won't hold the unit).
