Size: 1 1/2" FPT x 1 1/2" FPT

Designed to be used any place where you want to stop backflow and siphoning. These are among the highest quality check valves to be found. Relative to other types and manufacturers of check valves, there is minimal pressure loss.

Comments: I use the check valve on my return pump only to limit flow for sound and air purposes, but it works great. I like being able to see the valve, for visual inspection of blockage and flow. It is a very simple yet effective design. Flow restriction is very minimal. Customer Service caries the threaded version of this valve that a competitor does not! Thanks MD!

Comments: This valve does the job it is meant to do. It stops water from backflowing back into the sump and causing a flood. It allows me to cut off power at any time without worrying about a low tank level or a high sump level.

Comments: Love this product, it keeps my sump from filling up when pumps cut off for feeding. Being clear its easy to check to see if there is any problems with the valve. Overall very good product.

Comments: Valve leaked not at fittings but in center of valve. plastic seam defective? Low pressure should not have failed. Carpet got wet, but was there when it happened. Only lost 1 gallon, would have been a disaster if gfi didn't trip due to being sprayed with reef tank water.The retailer said they will credit the cost of the valve after they receive the defective one shipped back at my expense. We'll see, since first time had a problem with this retailer's purchased product.

Comments: Well built check valve. No noticable flow decrease. Its clear body lets you see if there's any blockage threat. No metal parts to rust or corrode. This check valve is cheap insurance in the event of a power outtage.

Comments: I installed this check valve on my new reef tank. This thing just works perfect, I tested it by shutting down my return pump and there isn't even a drop of water that gets through it. I did have to silicone the fittings into the threaded ends. No matter how tight I screwed the fittings in it still leaked, but a little silicone and perfectly dry.
