Strong Magnet

Comments: It does a good job at cleaning but you can't turn the corner with it,it will fall as it is kinda heavy,the safety string is a must, I prefer the floating magnets for cleaning but for what I am using the ViaAqua magnet for its great, I took the adapter plate from my Sure Flow 1600 maxi-jet upgrade kit(the one used to mount it to the maxi-jet suction cup mount) and epoxied it to this magnet,made a power head mount. it works great,it has more holding power(almost double the size)than my Sure Flow Magnets,it don't look as good but at about half the cost it don't look bad ;)

It MIGHT clean algae..

Comments: I actually just got this to make a magnetic mount for my powerhead... works like a charm for that! super strong. the outer magnet has a nice velvet like pad to prevent scratches. I will be buying three more. two for my other powerheads, and one to clean my tank.

WHAT A JOKE...

Comments: IT SINKS LIKE A ROCK... I thought the string was a good idea//because believe me....you need to use it alot... took 2 people to set it on the tank ( I have a wall tank) and if you have kids that like to play with magnets it's not a good idea.... I will say it's strong ...but if it gets a pebble under the mag you have to take it out or play this game of trying to shake the substrate off of it.... I mistakenly thought it was a floater..those are the only ones I ever used in the past....ending up buying the mag float for $7 bucks more....
