Great looking light

I just installed the 30W dual spectrum Skkye Light tablet on a 20L reef tank. This tablet is replacing two pendants from a competitor that had shorter than expected lives. I'm very impressed with the coverage and brightness of this light. Using the standard mounting arm, the tablet is at the perfect height to cover the full length of the aquarium (30", no center cross brace).
The dual spectrum results in a very crisp white light. There's enough blue to catch some florescence on the corals, but those who prefer a blue looking tank will want more.
Two small blue LEDs are powered via a separate power cord for moonlight control. The primary white and blue LEDs are controlled together on a single primary cord.
As some other reviewers have noted, the fan noise is a bit loud. However, it's quieter than my protein skimmer. Installation in a canopy would probably help considerably. I now believe LEDs at this intensity need more cooling than most manufacturers provide, so I appreciate this fan.
I do want to point out that the standard mounting arm is longer than I expected. On the 12.5" wide tank, the light extends beyond the front edge of the aquarium by almost two inches. This would not be an issue on a breeder tank or a tank that is 75 gallons or larger. It still lights the aquarium very well, but I'll probably hang the light or mount in a future canopy. It's a relatively easy issue to address. However, none of the information from the manufacturer provided this dimension so it cost them one star.
Overall, a great looking light. One tablet is providing the coverage of the two pendants that it replaced... so basically half the price, half the wattage, better coverage, and the same perceived light intensity as before. I look forward to seeing how this performs in the long run. At this point, I would definitely consider adding this to my other aquariums when its time to upgrade.
