Comments: I have never had a outbreak in my 225 gallon tank .Ihave ben using the 57 watt uv for 6 years i have fish,coral and inverts. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: My aquarium was literally turning green and I didn't realize my UV had gone out. I ordered a new lamp and installed it and overnight I could tell the difference. On the third day after replacement, the tank was so clean I could tell the difference when I first walked in the door. I am extremely happy with the Aqua UV sterilizer and recommend it to anyone serious about keeping their tank looking great! Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Mostly, I was very pleased with the prompt service from Marine Depot. I received my order in less than 5 business days. You have a new customer. The new lamps have not yet been installed, but I have no reason to think they will not perform to my satisfaction just as the lamps they are replacing, which are at least 3 years old (used only 5 months a year). Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Be extremely careful when removing or installing bulb, any slight angle will cause pressure on the quartz sleeve and break it very easily. I broke mine and was fortunate enough not to have to replace it because it is not leaking, yet. This UV sterilizer will keep saltwater crypto (ick) in check. Saved my fish from a massive outbreak twice. Must replace bulb every 9-12 months. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I had just bought a new bulb less than 5 months ago. It was really sad to see it last less than 6 months...especially when the estimated life span is about 1 year. And....no...I never touched the bulb with my hands to get oil on it to shorten the life span! When I pulled out the old bulb it was completly black and fried. Dont know it was bad luck but at $57 a bulb I feel like I was fried!!!!!! The previous bulb lasted well over 1 year!!!! OUCH Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: I didn't replace my UV lamp for about 7-8 months. When I finally did, I was amazed at how fast my koi pond cleared up. The Aqua UV system eliminates algae immediately. It was nice to see the bottom of my pond again (as well as enjoying the crisp colors of my koi). Based on my results, I highly recommend any of the Aqua UV systems. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: One bulb was received in good condition and worked. The other has problems with the pin (4) sizes. They were to small and the bulf fell off of the connector. However, I contaced Aqua and they have responded well with a RMA number and shipping label for bulb replacement. Great customer support. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.

Comments: Having not had any other UV experience I cannot claim to be anything but a novice. The Aqua UV is a good performer. I change it every 15 months and can't see a difference in between the new and the old. The price is high. I can say that the Aqua UV system has worked great at ridding my tank of parasites. Yes, I would recommend this product to my friends.
