These are Great little moon lights. They install very easily and put out quite a bit of light. After a year or so, they begin to lose their brightness and so I have changed mine a few times. but at the low price.... who cares! I highly recommend them.

I really think for the price the quality of this product was good, It was a little hard to mount on my T5 lighting
unit, but i finally got it and the lights at night look great so far.

I got the Lunar Light in blue and the fish really love it, it covers 1/3 of the tank if I install it under the top of the tank lid so for right now I keep it outside the tank and move it from different location to different location so the get a feel for it all over the tank, again they love it. I will get two more for my 10 gallon tank, and will have two blue and one whit so they wont be drenched it one color only. I think they like it alot and might search for red lights too. I would highly recommend these lights, they have different strengths so you can shine the light at different levels too!

These lunar LED’s are fantastic! I have a new 90 gallon reef tank with a 4 foot, 2xT5/2xMH, light fixture suspended above it. I mounted 3 of these lunar lights across the center of the fixture (between the two MH’s) and hid the wires inside the hood. I mixed the colors by placing a white LED on each end and a blue one in the center. I love the soft shimmer of light it creates in the tank and what a difference it has made in the fishes behavior. Before installing these LED’s I would leave the two T5’s on at night which I realize now was way too much light for the fish. I couldn’t figure out why they always seemed so stressed and hid all the time. Now that I have the lunar LED’s on the timer they get 10 hours of soft lunar light at night, 2 hours of medium light from the T5’s in the morning and evening and 10 hours of the bright light from the MH’s during the day. Now my fish spend all day out swimming around the tank like normal fish and my coral has developed a nice cycle with the brightness of the light slowly stepping up in the morning and back down in the evening. I’m really glad I got these lights. They are well worth the investment. If you are considering these lights for your tank then I say give them a try, you will love the look it gives your tank and your fish will thank you as well.

I bought 7 of these for a 175 gallon tank freshwater setup. I mounted them about 2 inches from the glass top, and they barely peirce the water enough to luminate the fish. I have to get right up on the aquarium to see anything really.
I tried something a lil different, I went out and bought some blue cathod tubes from the local store, bought a ac/dc power converter, and they worked like a charm, I can actually see the inside of my tank, not just shadows from the poorly lit blue LED's...

This is a great product if you dont have a lighting system that has a moon light with it. I have 2 attatched to my 29 gal aquarium and I love that you can see what goes on in your tank when the sun goes down. you notice a lot of nocturnal species running around your tank.

VERY GOOD NIGHT LIGHTING. GIVES YOU THE CHANCE TO SEE ANY NOCTURNAL CRITTERS YOU HAVE IN YOUR TANK. IT ALSO EASES THE TRANSITION FROM DAY TO NIGHT IN YOUR TANK SO NOT TO STRESS YOUR FISH OUT.

These are great little lights. The only down side I have noticed is they must be replaced pretty offten to keep their brightness. After six months of use if you compair the light output of an old one to a new one and you will see the difference. I replace all of mine ever year. But for the price and the size they are wonderful.

You can't beat these lights for the price. They are extremely simple units, easy to install, and are VERY bright. They add a nice shimmer to the tank.
My only complaint is the length of the cords. The power cord is only 4ft long, which isn't very helpful on a 2ft tall tank when you want to place the lights in the middle. Also, the linking cables are only 2ft long, Also not good when you want to place one of these lights on either side of a 4ft long T5 bulb. Other than this one complaint, not bad little units.
